Websites for landscapers

A landscaping website that shows the work.

Nobody hires a landscaper from a paragraph. They look at finished yards, check that you cover their town, and want an easy way to call. The framework gives each of those a place.

$59 one-time setup, then $99/mo. for 12 mo. or $169/mo. with no commitment. No sales calls.

What a homeowner checks before hiring a landscaper.

Someone comparing landscapers is comparing yards. They want to see your work, confirm you do the job they have in mind, and find out whether you come to their town. The framework puts each answer where they expect to find it.

Photos of finished yards.

The recent work section holds eight photos. For a landscaper this is the section that does the selling, and the one to spend the most time on.

The work you actually do.

Four service cards, each with a photo, a name and a short description: design, maintenance, hardscape and seasonal cleanups, or whichever four headings fit your business.

Whether you cover their town.

The service area section names six cities you serve, with a line inviting anyone on the edge of it to call and ask.

Licensed and insured.

Four badges in the trust strip directly under the hero, in your words: licensed and insured, years in business, a certification you hold, a warranty on hardscape work.

An easy way to call.

A Call Now button in the navigation, the hero and under the services, Get In Touch in the call-to-action band, and a round Call Now button pinned to the bottom right of every screen.

Proof it's a real company.

An about section with your founding year, eight reasons to choose you, seven FAQs in your own words, and your phone, email, city and hours in the closing section and footer.

The framework, in a landscaper's words.

Everything below is example wording to show what goes where, written for a made‑up landscaping company that is not a client. Nothing here is a claim about a real business. You enter your own details on the online form, and you can change any of them later.

Recent work: eight photos. The section that matters most.

A Recent work eyebrow, a headline and a grid of eight photos. Choose these eight with care. For example: a finished paver patio, a front bed the week after a spring cleanup, a retaining wall, a sod install a few weeks in, a walkway, a planting in its best month, a backyard at dusk with the lighting on, and your crew on a job. Shoot after the final cleanup, in daylight, from where a visitor would stand. You supply the eight, and you can swap any of them later as better jobs finish.

The recent work section: a Recent work eyebrow, the headline See the Results, and a grid of eight photos in two rows.

The recent work section before personalization. Eight empty slots, your photos.

Services: four cards.

A headline, a one-line promise and four cards, each with a photo, a name and a short description, then a Call Now button. Example entries for a landscaper:

  • Landscape designPlanting plans, beds and borders, front-yard makeovers, drawn up before a shovel goes in.
  • MaintenanceWeekly mowing, edging, pruning and bed care on a schedule you set once.
  • HardscapePaver patios, walkways, retaining walls and fire pits.
  • Seasonal cleanupsSpring bed prep and mulch, fall leaf removal and cutbacks, done before the weather turns.

The headline and promise above the cards are yours to write too, for example: Design, maintenance and hardscape. One crew from the first sketch to the last cleanup.

The services section: a What we do eyebrow, the headline Services Built to Last, four cards each with a photo, a [Service] name and a short description, and a Call Now button.

The services section before personalization. Four cards, your photos and wording.

The rest of the page, same idea.

  • HeroEyebrow: Design, maintenance and hardscape. Headline: A yard you'll want to come home to. Plus a wide photo of your best finished yard, since it is the first thing a visitor sees.
  • Trust stripFour badges directly under the hero, for example: Licensed and insured. Free written quotes. Years in business. A certification, if you hold one.
  • AboutA headline, two paragraphs on who you are and how you work, your founding year in the Est. badge, and a photo of you or your crew with the truck.
  • Why choose usEight reasons, each with one line on why it matters to the homeowner: a written scope before work starts, one crew from first sketch to final cleanup, cleanup included on every visit, a warranty on hardscape work.
  • Call-to-action bandA headline and two short points in your brand color, for example: Planning a patio this year? Free written quotes. Design and installation by the same crew.
  • Service areaA headline, a description and six town names, followed by a line inviting anyone on the edge of your area to call. Name the towns your trucks actually go to; a homeowner just outside the city limits is looking for their town here.
  • FAQSeven questions you already answer on the phone: Do you charge for design quotes? When should I book a spring cleanup? Do you offer weekly maintenance? Do you build paver patios? What areas do you cover? How do you price a job? Do you warranty your work?
  • Closing section and footerA headline, your phone, email and business hours, and a Call Now button. Then the footer: business name and tagline, quick links, and your phone, email, city and state.

The live framework shows placeholder text in brackets where your details go.

Same framework. Your trade.

Every Horizon website uses this framework. Your name, colors, photos and text go in; the structure stays. Scroll it, and pick a trade to switch.

Your site can change with the seasons.

Landscaping work shifts through the year, and what a homeowner is searching for shifts with it. Text, images, colors and business info are yours to edit anytime through a simple editor, no code, on every plan.

Spring.

Point the eyebrow line, the headline and the call-to-action band at cleanups and bed prep, and move a fresh-mulch photo into the first gallery slot.

Growing season.

Turn the band toward maintenance and hardscape, and replace gallery photos as patios get finished and plantings fill in.

Fall.

Put leaf removal and cutbacks in the seasonal cleanups card, then update your hours in the closing section when the schedule shifts.

The section structure stays fixed, which is what keeps the site looking clean after a year of edits. Edits are included; there is no invoice for them.

What a visitor does on your page.

One short path, from the first screen to a phone call. The sections above are the places it runs through.

They land.

A wide photo fills the first screen, with your headline and the Call Now button.

They check.

The eight recent-work photos do the convincing. The service cards and the six cities answer what you do and where.

They reach out.

They tap Call Now, or Get In Touch to see your phone, email and hours.

Go live before spring.

Spring is when many people start thinking about their yards. Have the site live before then, with the cleanup and bed-prep wording ready in the headline. The clock on "live within 72 hours" starts when you finish the online form, and it depends on how quickly you provide content and approve the preview. Leave yourself some room before the date you want to be live.

The rest of the wording, written out.

The sections above show the hero, trust items, services and service area. Here is everything else, start to finish, written for a made-up landscaping company that is not a client. It is example wording only. You enter your own on the online form, and you can change any of it later.

The same crew that draws up your plan does the work. You get a written scope before we start, and we clean up every visit.

Certifications and licenses: Insured. Certifications on request.

Badge: Est. 2008. Plus a photo of you or your crew.

Call-to-action band

Planning a patio this year?

Free written quotes. Design and installation by the same crew.

Plus a Get In Touch button and a Call Now button.

Closing section

Tell us about your yard.

Under the headline: your phone, email and business hours, and a Call Now button.

Seven questions, answered.

Do you charge for design quotes?

No. We visit, talk through what you want, and give you a written quote at no charge.

When should I book a spring cleanup?

Early spring is the busiest time, so booking as soon as the ground thaws gets you on the schedule sooner.

Do you offer weekly maintenance?

Yes. We mow, trim and tidy on a weekly schedule during the growing season.

Do you build paver patios?

Yes. Patios, walkways and retaining walls are a large part of our work. We will quote the design and the installation together.

What areas do you cover?

We work in the towns near us. Check the service area section, and if you are close to the edge, call and ask.

How do you price a job?

Maintenance is priced by the visit or the season. Design and building jobs get a written quote after we see the yard.

Do you warranty your work?

Yes. Our warranty covers hardscape work. Ask us for the terms when you request a quote.

What this framework doesn't do.

It is a website that gets people to call or ask. Here is what it is not, so nothing surprises you later.

  • It is one page.Sections you scroll through, not a site with a separate page for every service, and not a blog.
  • The structure does not change.Four service cards, six cities, eight photos, eight reasons to choose you, four trust items and seven FAQs, in the same order. You change what they say, not how many there are.
  • It is not a place to sell plants or materials. There is no cart or checkout. The site gets people to call you.
  • It is not an online store or custom software.Complex ecommerce, custom software and bespoke design are outside what Horizon builds, and we say so before you buy.

From one online form to a live site.

No sales call and no design meetings. You see the framework, pick a plan, and fill in one form in the truck between jobs.

Preview the framework.

We personalize the framework, you approve the preview online, and your site is live within 72 hours of finishing the form.

Questions landscapers ask.

Seven that come up for this trade. The full list is on the FAQ page.

Can I show before-and-after photos?

Yes, within the eight slots. The gallery is a grid of eight single photos, two rows of four, and that structure is fixed. A before-and-after works as two slots side by side, or as one image with both halves combined before you upload it. The framework does not have a slider or a separate before-and-after section, so plan the eight around it. Your four service cards each take a photo too, which is a good place for a second view of the same job.

My work is seasonal. Can I change the site during the year?

Yes. Text, images, colors and business info are yours to edit anytime through a simple editor, no code, and edits are included on every plan with no extra invoice. The usual spots to change through the year are the eyebrow line above the headline, the call-to-action band, the seasonal cleanups card, the gallery photos and your business hours. The page layout and section order stay the same, so the site keeps its shape no matter how often you update it.

I do design, maintenance, hardscape and cleanups. Is four cards enough?

Those four map directly onto the four cards. The number of cards is part of the fixed framework, so if you also do irrigation, lighting, sod or tree work, fold each one into the card it belongs with and name it in the short description. The Hardscape card alone can list patios, walkways, retaining walls and fire pits in one line. The one-line promise above the cards, the about paragraphs and the seven FAQ answers give you more room to describe the rest.

Can I show a license or certification?

Yes. The four trust items under the hero are text you write, so one can read Licensed and insured. The about section also has a line for certifications and licenses. Both are text you write.

I work in more than six towns. What do I do?

The service area section has a headline, a description and six city names. If you cover more ground, put the region in the headline or the description, and list the six places you go most.

Can I use my brand colors?

Yes. Your colors are yours to set, and they carry across the whole site. The structure and the order of the sections stay fixed.

Can I update my hours and contact details?

Yes. Hours, phone, email and service area are business info, and you can change them anytime through the simple editor. Edits are included, with no extra charge.

See the framework before you pay a cent.
