Websites for dentists

A dental website built around the new patient.

The person with a cracked tooth wants your number now. The family that just moved to town wants to know if you take their insurance and how a first visit works. The framework answers both on one page.

$59 one-time setup, then $99/mo. for 12 mo. or $169/mo. with no commitment. No sales calls.

What a new patient checks before booking.

Choosing a dentist is a bigger decision than choosing a plumber, and people take a minute longer with it. They still skim. The framework puts each answer where they expect to find it.

The services they need, by name.

Four service cards, each with a photo, a name and one line: cleanings and exams, fillings and crowns, cosmetic work, emergency care. A visitor confirms you do what they need before they scroll any further.

Whether you take their insurance.

The framework has no separate insurance section. Your insurance note is text you write, and it fits where patients look first: a trust badge directly under the hero, the eyebrow line above the headline, a differentiator, an FAQ answer.

Whether you're taking new patients.

Say it in a badge and in the eyebrow line above the headline. Then explain what a first visit involves and what to bring in the about paragraphs and an FAQ answer.

A number to call about a toothache.

A phone button in the navigation, another in the hero, and a Call Now pill pinned to the bottom right of every screen. On a phone, it stays under the thumb.

An easy way to reach you.

A Call Now button in the navigation, the hero and under the services, a round one pinned to the screen, and your email and hours in the contact section. A patient who would rather write than call can email you.

Proof it's a real practice.

Eight photos of the office and the people in it, an about section with the year you opened, eight reasons to choose you, and seven FAQs in your own words.

The framework, in a dentist's words.

Everything below is example wording to show what goes where, written for a family dental practice that does not exist and is not a client. Nothing here is a claim about a real practice. You enter your own details on the online form, and you can change any of them later.

Services: four cards.

A headline, a one-line promise and four cards, each with a photo, a name and a short description, then a Call Now button. Example entries for a dental practice:

  • Cleanings and examsRoutine cleanings, exams and X-rays for adults and children.
  • Fillings and crownsTooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges and root canals.
  • Cosmetic dentistryWhitening, veneers and clear aligners.
  • Emergency careToothaches, broken teeth and lost crowns, with same-day appointments when we can.

The headline and promise above the cards are yours to write too, for example: Gentle, thorough dentistry for the whole family. New patients welcome.

The services section: a What we do eyebrow, the headline Services Built to Last, four cards each with a photo, a [Service] name and a short description, and a Call Now button.

The services section before personalization. Four cards, your photos and wording.

About: your story, and what a first visit looks like.

A photo, a headline, two paragraphs and an Est. badge with the year you opened. For a dental practice, this is the new-patient page folded into the home page. Use the first paragraph for who you are and how you practice. Use the second for the first visit: how long it takes, what to bring, and how you handle insurance and payment. A photo of you, your team or the front door does more here than a stock image.

The about section: a photo with an Est. [Year] badge, an Our story eyebrow, [About Headline], two paragraphs and a line for certifications and licenses.

The about section before personalization. One photo, two paragraphs, your founding year.

Service area: six cities.

A headline, a description and six city names. Patients drive to a dentist, so name your city and the five towns they come from, under a headline like Serving families across the county. The description line is a good place for your street address and parking note, since it is free text. Under the cities, the framework's own line invites anyone unsure to call.

The service area section: an eyebrow, [Service Area Headline], a description, six city names and the line Not sure if we cover your area? Give us a call.

The service area section before personalization. Six cities, your headline and description.

The rest of the page, same idea.

  • HeroEyebrow: Family dentistry, accepting new patients. Headline: Gentle care for every smile in the family. Plus a photo of your front desk or an operatory.
  • Trust stripFour badges you write: New patients welcome. Emergency appointments. Family and cosmetic dentistry. Serving the area since your founding year. If one plan covers most of your patients, name it in a badge. It is the first place they look.
  • PhotosEight photos, for example: the reception area, an operatory, the team, the building from the street, and finished smiles with the patient's permission.
  • Why choose usEight reasons, each with one line on why it matters to the patient: gentle with nervous patients, same-week new‑patient visits, a cost estimate before treatment, Saturday appointments.
  • Call-to-action bandA headline and two short points in your brand color, for example: Ready for your first visit? New patients seen this week. Insurance and payment explained up front.
  • FAQSeven questions your front desk answers every day: Are you taking new patients? Which insurance plans do you accept? What should I bring to my first visit? Do you see children? What do I do about a toothache after hours? Do you offer payment plans? How often should I come in for a cleaning?
  • Closing sectionA headline, your phone, email and office hours, and a Call Now button.
  • FooterPractice name and tagline, quick links, and your phone, email, city and state.

Same framework. Your trade.

Every Horizon website uses this framework. Your name, colors, photos and text go in; the structure stays. Scroll it, and pick a trade to switch.

Insurance and payment, in your own words.

Which plans you accept is the question new patients ask most, and it is yours to answer. Horizon does not write it or check it. You write it once on the online form, and you keep it current.

Where it goes.

A trust badge, directly under the hero. The eyebrow line. A differentiator in the why choose us band. An FAQ answer with the full list. The same note can appear in all four.

What to write.

Name the plans you take, say what you offer patients without insurance, and mention payment plans if you have them. Short and specific reads better than "all major plans accepted."

Change it yourself.

When you join or drop a plan, edit the line in the simple editor. It is your text, it changes anytime, and it does not need code or a support request.

What a visitor does on your page.

One short path, from the first screen to a phone call. The sections above are the places it runs through.

They land.

A photo, a headline that says you are taking new patients, and the Call Now button.

They check.

The trust items and the services section answer what you treat. The about section shows who they will meet.

They reach out.

They tap Call Now, or Get In Touch to see your phone, email and hours.

Go live before a new-patient push.

If you are about to start taking new patients, have the site live first, so there is somewhere to send people. The clock on "live within 72 hours" starts when you finish the online form, and it depends on how quickly you provide content and approve the preview. Leave yourself some room before the date you want to be live.

The rest of the wording, written out.

The sections above show the hero, trust items, services and service area. Here is everything else, start to finish, written for a made-up family dental practice that is not a client. It is example wording only. You enter your own on the online form, and you can change any of it later.

Call-to-action band

Ready for your first visit?

New patients seen this week. Insurance and payment explained up front.

Plus a Get In Touch button and a Call Now button.

Closing section

Schedule your visit.

Under the headline: your phone, email and business hours, and a Call Now button.

Seven questions, answered.

Are you taking new patients?

Yes. New patients are usually seen within the week. Call or send a request and we will find a time.

Which insurance plans do you accept?

Call us with your plan and we will tell you. We will also explain what to expect before your visit.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Your insurance card, a photo ID, and a list of any medicines you take. If you have recent x-rays from another dentist, bring those or tell us who to ask.

Do you see children?

Yes. We see the whole family, and we take extra time with children who are nervous.

What do I do about a toothache after hours?

Call our number and follow the message. If you have swelling in your face or trouble breathing or swallowing, go to the nearest emergency room.

Do you offer payment plans?

We can talk through payment options before treatment starts. Ask us when you call.

How often should I come in for a cleaning?

Most people come twice a year. We will tell you what makes sense for you.

What this framework doesn't do.

It is a website that gets people to call or ask. Here is what it is not, so nothing surprises you later.

  • It is one page.Sections you scroll through, not a site with a separate page for every service, and not a blog.
  • The structure does not change.Four service cards, six cities, eight photos, eight reasons to choose you, four trust items and seven FAQs, in the same order. You change what they say, not how many there are.
  • It is not a patient records or insurance system. The site lets a new patient reach you. Charts, claims and billing stay in your practice software.
  • It is not an online store or custom software.Complex ecommerce, custom software and bespoke design are outside what Horizon builds, and we say so before you buy.

From one online form to a live site.

No sales call and no design meetings. You see the framework, pick a plan, and fill in one form between patients.

Preview the framework.

See the exact structure your site will use before you pay. No card needed to look. The live framework is up now, with placeholder text in brackets where your details go. No card needed to look.

Check out and fill in the online form.

Pick a plan at secure checkout, then spend 15 to 20 minutes on the form: your four services, your insurance wording, what a first visit involves, the towns patients come from, office hours, phone, email, brand color, and photos of the office and the team.

Approve it. It goes live.

We personalize the framework, you approve the preview online, and your site is live within 72 hours of finishing the form.

Questions dentists ask.

Seven that come up for dental practices. The full list is on the FAQ page.

Can patients request an appointment without calling?

Not through a form: the framework has none. Every button is a Call Now button, and Get In Touch takes a visitor to your phone, email and hours in the contact section. A patient who would rather not call can email you.

Where does my insurance information go?

Wherever you put it, as text you write. A trust badge suits the short version, since it sits directly under the hero, and an FAQ answer suits the full list of plans. The eyebrow line, a differentiator and the about paragraphs work too. There is no separate insurance section or logo strip in the framework, and the section structure stays fixed, so use those spots. You can edit the wording anytime in the simple editor.

Where does my street address go?

The closing section shows your phone, email and office hours, and the footer shows your phone, email, city and state. Your street address and parking directions go in free text: the service area description, the about paragraphs, or an FAQ answer such as Where are you located. Patients who plan to drive in will look for it in the service area section, so that is the first place to put it.

I offer more than four services. Where does the rest go?

The services section has four cards, so choose the four you want more of. Put the rest in a sentence under the headline, in the about paragraphs, or in an FAQ answer.

Can I show photos of my office and team?

Yes. The recent work section holds eight photos, and the hero and about section each have a photo of their own, and you can swap any of them whenever you finish a better job. A before-and-after pair counts as two photos.

Can I change the site when something changes?

Yes. Your text, photos, colors and business info are yours to edit anytime through a simple editor, no code. Edits are included on every plan, so there is no invoice for them. The structure and section order stay fixed.

Can I use my brand colors?

Yes. Your colors are yours to set, and they carry across the whole site. The structure and the order of the sections stay fixed.
