How much does a plumber website cost per month in 2026?
Quick answer
A plumbing company website costs $49 to $650 a month from a done-for-you subscription provider (median $124 across the 24 providers we track), about $9 to $22 a month if you build it yourself, or $3,000 to $15,000 up front from a custom agency. A $99 a month plan such as Horizon's includes the build, hosting, SSL, lead forms and ongoing edits, with a $59 setup fee and a site live within 72 hours.
Plumbers get quoted everything from £49 a month to $15,000 for the same five pages. Both of those numbers come from real owners asking real questions on Reddit. The spread is not because plumbing websites vary that much. It is because the market sells the same thing three ways.
The three ways to pay
1. Done-for-you subscription. Someone builds and hosts the site; you pay monthly. The cheapest tiers are usually templated; the expensive ones bundle local SEO or marketing.
2. Do it yourself. Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy, Mighty Sites and similar builders cost about $9 to $22 a month at their entry tiers. The money you save is paid in weekends, and the site is only as good as the evening you spent on it.
3. Custom build. An agency or freelancer designs a site from scratch for a one-time fee, usually $3,000 to $8,000 for a small service business (FlashCrafter’s own comparison puts a custom WordPress build at $3,000 to $7,500 in year one, and the HVAC owner above was quoted $8,000), sometimes much more, plus $25 to $150 a month for hosting and maintenance afterward. What a plumber website should cost
A plumbing site has one job: turn a search into a phone call. That takes a clear list of services, the area you cover, license and insurance badges, photos of real work, reviews, and a tap-to-call number that works on a phone at midnight. None of that requires custom design. It requires a layout that already does those things, filled in with your details.
That is why the honest price for most one-to-five-truck plumbing companies is at or below the $124 median subscription, all in, with no large upfront fee. Below that you are building it yourself; above that you are paying for marketing services, a sales team, or a design process you do not need.

Questions plumbers ask about cost
Is $99 a month worth it, or should I just use Wix? If you will actually build and maintain the site yourself, Wix at $17 a month is cheaper. Most owners do not, and a half-finished DIY site costs more in lost calls than the difference. The longer answer is in Is a $99 a month website worth it?
Why do agencies charge thousands? Because custom design takes weeks of skilled time, and because the client is paying for the agency’s sales process. Neither improves a plumber’s phone ringing.
